Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz on Saturday said that 750,000 Palestinians have evacuated Gaza City as his forces have increased the intensity of their strikes.
Katz said that Israeli forces are “advancing towards the decisive phase” of the offensive on Gaza.
“Terror towers in the city have been toppled and terror infrastructure has been destroyed,” Katz wrote in a post on US social media company X.
Autonomous booby-trapped vehicles are being deployed ahead of Israeli forces to thwart explosives, Katz said, adding that the firepower protecting Israeli forces “is heavy and powerful.”
Katz also said that Israeli soldiers are taking “more and more neighbourhoods and territories in Gaza.”
