Israeli attacks have killed at least 50 Palestinians across Gaza City alone as Israel’s genocide enters its 713th day.

The Israeli army said its forces were advancing towards the city centre from two sides, trapping residents and forcing them towards the coast.
Army spokesperson Nadav Shoshani told Reuters that infantry, tanks and artillery were pushing deeper into the city, backed by air strikes, to increase pressure on Hamas.
In Washington, a group of US senators introduced the first resolution urging recognition of a Palestinian state, signalling a shift in US political debate nearly two years into Israel’s war on Gaza.
