Trump's plan offers new possibilities for aid delivery, UN relief chief says

Tom Fletcher, the head of the UN humanitarian agency (OCHA), said that Trump's Gaza plan would offer “new possibilities for humanitarians to deliver lifesaving aid at the scale desperately needed by civilians”.

In a post on social media, Fletcher said the plan also facilitates “hostages finally coming home”. 

“We are ready and eager to work – in a practical and principled way – to seize this moment for peace,” he added.
