Spain's foreign minister says he'd support removal of Israeli team from cycling race

Spain’s foreign minister expressed support for the expulsion of an Israeli team from a Spanish cycling race on Friday after pro-Palestinian protests disrupted the event.

Jose Manuel Albares said he’d support the Israel-Premier Tech team being barred from Vuelta a Espana, saying, “We have to send a message to Israel and the Israeli society that Europe and Israel can only have normal relations when human rights are respected”.
