Several injured during pro-Palestine demonstration in Italy

Some 10 people were injured during clashes that erupted between police and pro-Palestine protestors on Saturday in northern Italy, news agency ANSA reported.
Protesters showing solidarity with Palestine took to the streets and held demonstrations across Turin, in the Piedmont region of Italy.
ANSA reported that police blocked the path of protesters with water cannons and tear gas. The protestors threw rocks, smoke bombs, and firecrackers at the officers.
Protests, which began on Friday in Rome, Milan, Naples and Bologna, spread on Saturday to Florence, Pisa, Ancona, Trieste, Bari, and Alessandria, Anadolu news agency has reported.
Demonstrations in support of Palestinians are growing across ports, universities, schools, and public squares, ahead of the national protest scheduled for Oct 4 in Rome.
