Netanyahu to propose plan to annex land in Gaza Strip

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to propose a plan to annex land in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to keep right-wing Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich in his government, Haaretz reported on Monday.

The plan proposes giving Hamas a few days to agree to a ceasefire, and if Hamas does not comply with conditions, Israel will begin annexing land in the Gaza Strip.
