Nelson Mandela's grandson joins Global Sumud Flotilla from Tunisia

Nelson Mandela's grandson is joining the Global Sumud Flotilla from Tunisia on Friday.

Mandla Mandela told journalists in Tunis that a delegation from South Africa wanted to join from Tunis "to say Africa is part of this struggle”.

“As Africans, we know very well what it means to live under occupation, under oppression,” he added.

Nelson Mandela was the first black president of South Africa after apartheid. Before that, he had spent 27 years in prison for his anti-apartheid activism.
