Israel's foreign minister says 'Israel's clear national interest is to end the war' in Gaza

Israeli foreign minister Gideon Sa’ar said in a post on X that “after two years of war, Israel's clear national interest is to end the war and achieve its goals."

"I trusts the prime minister to represent Israel's interests appropriately, in his talks with President Trump”, Sa’ar said ahead of a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump on Monday.
