Israeli strike kills one person in southern Lebanon: Report

Lebanese media say one person has been killed in an Israeli air strike that targeted a car in the Khardali area. The country’s official National News Agency identified the victim as a resident of Kfar Kila, a municipality in southern Lebanon.

The incident marks another violation of the ceasefire deal Israel reached with Hezbollah last November.

Just a day earlier, Israeli warplanes struck five towns in the south, drawing sharp condemnation from Lebanese officials, the army, and the United Nations.
