Israel to carry out attacks in southern Lebanon, says military

The Israeli military has said it will carry out attacks in southern Lebanon, and has called on people to leave their homes in a number of areas. 

It said the attacks would target what it described as Hezbollah military infrastructure, "in response to its attempts to rebuild its activities in the area", an Israeli military spokesperson said on Thursday.

Israel has repeatedly breached a ceasefire agreed in November, carrying out almost daily attacks in Lebanon.
