Israel lambasts France's plan to recognise a Palestinian state as harmful to Israel

Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar told his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot on a call on Thursday that France's decision to recognise a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly in September "harms Israel's national and security interests", according to a foreign ministry statement.
