Hamas condemns Israel's destruction of residential apartments in Gaza City as 'criminal activity'

Hamas said in a statement on Friday that the bombardment, destruction and forced displacement of residents in Gaza City are “crimes against humanity”. 

The group said, “The occupation army’s strikes on densely populated towers are part of an organised crime of forcible transfer”. 

They rejected Israel’s claims that residential buildings are being used by “resistance fighters” as a “criminal plan" and said Israel was using these excuses as “false pretexts to justify its brutality”.

Hamas urged the international community to take immediate action to halt Israel’s genocide on Gaza.
