The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) says one in three children in Gaza went without food in the past 24 hours due to severe shortages caused by Israel’s blockade.
Citing an assessment by the International Rescue Committee, Unrwa described the situation for children as “unbearable”, with many forced into child labour or begging to survive.
The agency renewed its call for an immediate ceasefire.
